Make an Impact
Synergy Adaptive Athletics is a program of the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA). All donations are processed through the WDSRA foundation, a 501(c)3 entity, and are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
“My son started playing wheelchair basketball when he was 5 years old. He didn’t know the difference between offense and defense…he had minimal use from his waist down…and I had no idea what kind of athlete he would be. Nine years later (14 years old), my son hopes to play college wheelchair basketball and try to make Team USA! Can you imagine?!! We owe so much to the Synergy program for making the person my son is today. He has developed the confidence and respect with his peers giving him the “I can do anything” attitude. In my opinion, Drew’s story is the Synergy success story. Synergy needs support to raise awareness. It takes so much to get the word out and make these programs incredible. Please help Synergy get the word out, raise awareness, and change lives as they have done for my son and our family.”
