About WORLD EXPLORERS
Cultural immersion is a unique experience that can open doors to a deeper understanding of an unfamiliar place and people. In the World Explorers program, we connect with people who live in countries around the globe to learn about daily life, language, food, fun, animals, landscapes and so much more! All this exploration and growth can be done from the safety and comfort of your own home through this virtual, but social experience.

Program details
This program is facilitated virtually. Each session we learn about a new country and connect with people who live (or have lived) there. Our international guests share about their country and our participants are able to ask questions to learn about different cultures. Registration is seasonal and each country is facilitated as a stand-alone event (only register for country events in which you are interested – no need to sign up for a whole “season”). This program is OPEN TO ALL WDSRA PARTICIPANTS.
World Explorers
– Americas, Europe, Middle East & Africa
Tuesdays 11am-12pm
Virtually travel the world, learning about different countries and cultures as we explore together. Based on the different time zones, this section will focus on countries in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. We will connect with real people from countries across the globe as we discover what life is like in other places. Learn about food, language, natural wonders, daily life, and more in this new and exciting cultural adventure!
World explorers
– East Asia, Australasia & Pacific
Thursdays 7pm-8pm
Virtually travel the world, learning about different countries and cultures as we explore together. Based on the different time zones, this section will focus on countries in the Pacific, Australasia and eastern Asia. We will connect with real people from countries across the globe as we discover what life is like in other places. Learn about food, language, natural wonders, daily life, and more in this new and exciting cultural adventure!
